Herbs & Spices


You may use sea salt, salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, onion powder, cinnamon, etc. for seasoning.
Read labels.  Watch for added sugars and starches and oils.

You may use fresh herbs.

If you use a fresh onion – it is counted as your vegetable choice for that meal. You can use powdered or flaked onion as a spice in any dish.
